Community Engagement & Visitor Management Planning, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park

Case StudiesCommunity (& Stakeholder) Engagement

SKS carried out a series of community engagements in outlying areas of the National Park. The focus was to examine the data collected on tourism by the local communities, the actions they take and the communication with the NP organisation. Four main themes emerged from our conversations with the communities: (i) the data collection process; (ii) visitor pressures; (iii) education; and (iv) communication.
