Heartland Cares is a new, community-owned organisation delivering vital home care and well-being support in our rural communities.
We’re looking for two Local Care Connectors – one in Rannoch & Tummel and one in Dunkeld & Birnam – to help local people live well, stay connected, and access the support they need.

About the role

As a Local Care Connector, you will:
– Be the main contact for local people needing advice, support or care
– Support and supervise a small team of home care workers
– Work with volunteers and community groups to deliver local services
– Build strong relationships with GPs, nurses, social workers and other partners
– Help join up local services to improve well-being in your community

Your experience

– Experience in care/support work
– Ability to support and motivate a small team
– Confidence working with volunteers and community groups
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Commitment to dignity, inclusion and confidentiality
– Driving licence and PVG/SSSC (or willingness to obtain)

The offer

£30,940 salary (pro rata) + pension
35 days holiday
Hybrid working – home, local office & community visits
Full-time (Dunkeld & Birnam)
Part-time (Rannoch & Tummel)
Flexible, supportive employment with ongoing training
