SKS delivered the National Catering Production Strategy for NHSScotland, partnering with FMS Consultancy. The Strategy will enable the service to provide, cost effective, consistent, quality food production for NHSScotland over the next 10-20 years.
Working directly with the NHS Health Facilities Scotland team, we ensured that the Catering Strategy is “owned” by the Scottish NHS Caterers and service stakeholders.
We managed the consultation process so that it was wide and with all major service stakeholders across the whole of Scotland.
The aim of the Strategy is to enhance the quality, and manage the cost base, of the food production services for NHSScotland, utilising Scottish produce, Scottish labour and Scottish locations wherever possible.
