Marcus is a part-time and visiting academic at three Scottish Universities where he specialises in teaching marketing for growing businesses.
He works with social and voluntary enterprises to introduce them to new markets or reposition them within their existing markets. He is interested in the way that charities can create social enterprises with independent income combined with the challenge of delivering services to vulnerable users within the community.
Being a market researcher for fast growth organisations, especially within the social economy, he borrows on “entrepreneurial” marketing principles to deliver commercial, innovative and practice based research for ambitious organisations.
