John’s consultancy experience includes transport, land use development, minerals and mining, regional and national economic development and tourism. John’s key skills are in appraisal, regional economics, market simulation, cost-benefit analysis and local impact analysis, and his experience includes project management, modeling, data collection and interpretation, stakeholder engagement and primary research. John has proven experience of working on complex, multi-disciplinary studies and in new policy and economic environments. In addition to working in Australia, John has worked in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, West Africa, Canada, the USA, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, the Caribbean and Oman. He holds a first class honours degree in economics, a masters degree in public policy economics and is a Fellow of the Tourism Society.
