Work Solutions
· Do you have a long term condition, but want to work?
· Are you keen to get back into the work place, even after a significant time away?
· Do you need flexibility eg working from home at your own pace when you are able?
We can help you
SKS Scotland:
· Can provide roles which offer flexibility, enabling you to manage your long term condition.
· Recruits volunteers for individual projects. By volunteering you will be adding new experience to your CV and giving you the all-important confidence that can help you get back into employment.
· Provides funds to cover your expenses.
· Identifies roles that begin in a voluntary capacity but may lead to firm job offers.
As part of our work in this area, we are currently designing a SURVEY, which will help us provide support and opportunities for those with long-term conditions.
LTCAS Survey
· Initially we are looking for volunteers to help us design this survey, to ensure that it is as appropriate and relevant as possible. To find out more see our LTCAS project approach or get in touch with Shona Sinclair.
· Once this stage is complete we will put the survey on line, so that as many people as possible fill it out.
· If you would like us to send you the survey results once the project is completed please send us on e-mail.
It has recently been awarded a Firstport grant as a developing social enterprise in Scotland. Shona Sinclair the founding Director has strong personal experience of M.E. having been diagnosed with it in 2002. Read M.E.-My Journey
